Synergy is a selective entry school. 

Students admitted to the School should show good potential. We expect Synergy students to be capable of attaining the following scores and grades alongside a rigorous sporting programme:

Level 6 in all subjects at the end of Key Stage 3 and
8 IGCSEs with B/A or A* in subjects to be taken at A Level and no grade below a C.

Students graduating from Synergy should be capable of gaining admission to a good British university, obtaining an American Scholarship or pursuing a professional sporting career.

In general the admissions procedure will include the following:

  • Written assessment and where possible a personal interview.
  • Previous year's school reports and evidence of any public exams taken.
  • Confidential reference from previous school.
  • Where relevant, psychologists' reports.
  • Report from sports coaching facility or sports coach

Written assessment should aim to establish the following:

  • Standard of the applicant's English.
  • Standard of the applicant's Mathematics.
  • Standard of the applicant's Spanish
